Sunderland manager David Moyes was left furious after the Black Cats' 1-0 defeat to West Ham as he felt that the Hammers' late winner should have been disallowed.

Winston Reid fired in a winner in the 94th minute to condemn Sunderland to their seventh Premier League defeat of the season in just nine games. However, Moyes feels that West Ham's Jonathan Calleri was in an offside position when Reid struck his shot, and that the Argentinian was interfering with play.

"It was offside," he told 'BBC Sport'.  "It should be given offside. The referee thinks it is onside. You can tell by the referee's movement to the linesman that he is not sure, they weren't sure but it was not a goal".

Sunderland now sit at the bottom of the Premier League table and are yet to record their first win in the competition. Moyes' job is already on the line and some are even tipping disgraced former England manager Sam Allardyce to make a sensational return to the Stadium of Light.
