Lockdown for Mouscron. The Belgian side have 21 positive COVID-19 cases in their squad after the eight new cases and are shutting down the whole club to prevent possible contagions.

Royal Excel Mouscron announced on Thursday that they are placing the entire squad, coaching team, and management in quarantine after registering 8 new coronavirus positives, which increase it to a total of 21 infections within the club.

"The management of Royal Excel Mouscron has decided to put the entire sports centre and the management into quarantine between Thursday 29th October and Monday 2nd November at the earliest", the club indicated in a statement, who added that the players will train individually in this period.

The Belgian League, who are postponing the match that the teams who register more than 7 positives in their ranks ask for, will have to delay Sunday's match against Sint-Truiden on matchday 11.

Mouscron already had to ask for the delay of their match last weekend against Cercle Brugge.
