In an interview for the Youtube channel 'Bethard', Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave an anecdote from his Inter days. Mourinho, then his coach, "massacred" him in front of the dressing room.

Ibrahimovic always spoke wonders of Mourinho, and vice versa. Two strong personalities, sometimes irreverent. Maybe that's why the coach and the player got along perfectly when they worked together.

The Swede, who is enjoying a new stage of his career in MLS, gave an interview with the Youtube channel 'Bethard', in which told a juicy anecdote of his time at Inter. Specifically, in the break of an Atalanta-Inter clash in January 2009.

"The next day I had to receive an award for Italy's best player, but in front of the whole team Mourinho told me that I should have been ashamed to get that award," said Ibrahimovic.

Then Mourinho told the striker, "The way you're playing, you don't deserve half that award. Zlatan, in front of all his team-mates, replied: "He slaughtered me, hammered me and I said: 'Okay, I'm not doing well, maybe I should do better.

Ibrahimovic recalled that Inter lost the match that day, but at least in the second half he scored a goal. "Other coaches have hammered me like that, but in a different way. Mourinho likes to do it directly because he has personality," he said.
