Mason Mount will likely become one of the biggest earners at Manchester United, report 'Daily Mail', after various reports that a deal had been agreed between United and Chelsea for the England international on Thursday.

Mason Mount is going to be able to cash in on a monster pay rise when he moves to Manchester, reports 'Daily Mail'. This comes after it was released that the Red Devils have agreed on a £60 million deal for the 24-year-old, who had just a year left on his Chelsea contract.

The outlet reports that the five-year deal will see the England international earn a staggering £250,000-a-week at Old Trafford, more than three times what he was earning in London. It is believed that the sum could reach £300,000 with bonuses based on his performance.

Mount had come up through the Blues' academy, making 195 appearances for the senior team and he leaves his boyhood side with a Champions League title, UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Cup.

Medical tests are due next week, and it is likely the announcement will come soon after, as Erik ten Hag's side have been pushing hard to get their first signing of the summer done and dusted.
