After Chelsea knocked Real Madrid out of the Champions League, Mason Mount criticised Toni Kroos for his comments in the build up to the game. The German said he did not lose sleep over Chelsea's individual talents and Mount said they should lose sleep over how strong they are as a team.
Mount did not show any mercy. He scored the second goal to kill off the Spanish side and then he criticised Kroos in the interview area. He was upset by the German's comments in the build up and he took revenge in the post-match interview.
He said that the Blues should have scored five goals, but he also hit out at Kroos. "I saw one of their players say before that he doesn’t lose sleep over individuals," Mount began.
"But as a team, they need to lose sleep over us as a team. We give so much, we defend for our lives," he added.
"You saw that in not many chances that we gave away. We are solid and we need to keep that going," the Englishman concluded.
