Borussia Dortmund have a problem with Youssoufa Moukoko, who has a contract expiring in June 2023 and wants to leave the German club due to a lack of playing time this season.

Moukoko is tired of the lack of playing time he is getting this season. According to 'Bild', despite being only 17 years old, the young German player is demanding more from his team and wants to leave.

"It is not clear that Youssoufa will renew his contract with Borussia Dortmund. The competition in the team is, of course, fierce," explained Patrick Williams, Moukoko's agent, recently. His contract expires on 30th June 2023.

The Cameroonian-born striker has made 17 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring one goal and assisting one. However, he has only played a limited number of minutes in those games.

Marco Rose believes he is not yet mature enough to be a regular starter for the German side, who are second in the Bundesliga only to Bayern Munich, nine points clear in the table.

He has also dropped down to the second team for a few games, two in particular. The next few months will be key for the future of Moukoko, who will have many offers on the table from next summer onwards.
