Morgan hails Mahrez's commitment
Wes Morgan, Leicester's captain and formidable centre-back, has praised his teammate Riyad Mahrez after his late equaliser against Bournemouth.
The Algerian masterfully curled a free-kick round the wall to find the back of the net in the 97th minute of Leicester's Premier League home tie with Bournemouth.
Mahrez's goal sent the entirety of the King Power into a frenzy and the winger himself didn't shy away from celebrating as he dashed over to the bench to celebrate with his manager and teammates.
After a rough few weeks at Leicester following an unsuccsesful move to Manchester City, Morgan feels the celebration is evocative of Mahrez's commitment to the side.
"Anyone who scored that goal would have been the same celebrations. Obviously, it was Riyad and you got to see the response," the defender told the 'Leicester Mercury.'
The Foxes will now be relying on Mahrez to continue his form as they go in pursuit of the leagues 'best of the rest' award: 7th place.
