Massimo Moratti, ex-Inter Milan president, recently surprised with some declarations about Lautaro Martínez. He said that he would only let him go if his replacement was Messi. But now he no longer sees it as simple that the Argentine can stay in Milan for a long time...

Inter's priority is to retain Lautaro Martínez at all costs. Everyone hopes that he continues to lead the team, he's the big star.

Ex-Inter president, Massimo Moratti, was convinced a few days ago of Lauataro's continuity: "His transfer to Barça? Of course, if his replacement is Messi".

Moratti hopes that Inter manage to retain him, but now he admits that it's going to be complicated. "I think it would be good if Inter could hold on to Lautaro because he has great potential and there is a great curiosity to see how he will develop and what he will become. He has a great talent, but I don't know how easy it will be to keep him if the interest of the big clubs is true," he said in statements collected by 'AS'.

And with Lautaro, Inter have a great squad. "The attack is excellent if Lautaro remains, the defence is excellent and the midfield is also good", Moratti analysed.

Barca are following his tracks and there are now those that place him at the Camp Nou next season. Moratti hopes that Inter manage to keep him far away from Barcelona.
