The game always looked like being a tight one and so it proved in the opening exchanges.
Gilt-edged chances were at a premium, so it was only natural that when a goal came it was via a mistake.
On the half-hour mark, Victor Moses crossed from the right and Lloris tried to claim it and was found in no-man's land, giving Morata the easy task of heading into the empty net.
