Montero pulled one back for Sporting
Sporting went into their Europa League quarter-final second leg trailing Atletico Madrid 2-0 on aggregate but Fredy Montero managed to pull one back in the first-half for the Portuguese outfit.
The pre-match build up saw three Atleti fans be detained by police following a comfrontation inside the Lisbon stadium.
However, the visiting supporters will feel even more aggrieved after watching their side's advantage shrink in half during the first 45 minutes.
Jan Oblak failed to fully deal with a lofting ball from the right-wing, palming it onto the head of opposing forward Montero, who guided it back across goal and within the far post.
