Monreal volleyed home to make the breakthrough
Nacho Monreal was the unlikely source of Arsenal's breakthrough against West Ham on Sunday as he volleyed home his sixth goal of the season.
Despite enjoying almost all of the possession in the first half, it looked like being a case of same old for Arsenal as they struggled to find a breakthrough.
However, within six minutes of the restart they found the opener.
Granit Xhaka's corner from the left found Monreal unmarked on the penalty spot and he volleyed low beyond Joe Hart first time to put the 'Gunners' ahead.
