Real Valladolid and Aris Thessaloniki have made official the agreement for the transfer of Ramon Rodriguez, better known as Monchu, to the Greek club. The club will receive 3.6 million euros for the transfer. The midfielder has signed a contract with the Greek side until 2028 and joins their huge roster of Spaniards.
Ramon Rodriguez, better known as Monchu, has decided to turn his career around and has left the Spanish Liga. The midfielder has moved to Greece to play for Aris.
Real Valladolid and the Greek club have announced that Monchu will play for the Greek club until June 2028. Real Valladolid will collect 3.6 million euros for the transfer. The player from Palma de Mallorca has become the most expensive transfer of the Thessaloniki team.
The list of Spaniards in the Thessaloniki squad is long. Players such as Hugo Mallo, a recent addition, Loren Moron, Manu Garcia, Ruben Pardo and Martin Montoya are some of the names on the list.
Monchu leaves Valladolid after 92 games, in which he scored 11 goals and provided 9 assists. Last season, he achieved promotion with the Spanish club and he planned to play in the first division, but the offer from the Greek club has seduced him.
