Real Madrid's main target ahead of the summer is none other than Jude Bellingham. Madrid legend Predrag Mijatovic spoke to 'Cadena SER' about the twists and turns that football throwns up, and analysed a possible move for the Englishman to the Santiago Bernabeu.
"He's a player who is popular at the moment, everyone wants him, it's no secret. Madrid are in a good position, but then nothing's certain, there's still a lot of time left. I know that Madrid have a very good relationship with Borussia Dortmund, that's for sure" the Serbian said.
What is more, the goalscorer against Juventus in 1998 and hero of Madrid's seventh Champions League claimed that he could be this summer's future midfielder: "People like Modric and Kroos could help him a lot, but Modric won't want to help him, but compete with him".
"At 38? Yes. At 40? Yes. Luka is not the typical player who would be happy to sign a deal with Madrid and be on the bench, if he stays, he'll put up a good fight. Madrid certainly know who they want to get in next year", he concluded.
