Rodrygo recently appeared on the 'Cortes Podcast' and recalled the story of last season from first person. It was incredibly special for him to add the Champions League to his list of achievements after performing so well in the competition last campaign.
During the programme, Rodrygo was asked for a story from the final in Paris. The Brazilian revealed a moment that happened off camera.
"I have to tell a funny anecdote. When the final finished, we made a guard of honour for the Liverpool players. Salah walked past upset and Modric, who was on the other side, called him and said: 'Come on, you can try again next time", he confessed.
With this gesture, Modric demonstrated that as well as being a top player, he is also a great professional, not only with the players in his own team, but also with those in opposing teams.
