Modric, Marcelo and Lucas Vazquez like Beckham's anti ESL post
David Beckham, now the owner of Inter Miami, admitted that he is not in favour of the European Super League in an Instagram post which several Real Madrid footballers liked.
Like many people in football, David Beckham has revealed he is against the European Super League. The Inter Miami owner gave his opinion.
"I’m someone who loves football. It has been my life for as long as I can remember. I loved it from when I was a young child as a fan, and I’m still a fan now," he began.
"As a player and now as an owner I know that our sport is nothing without the fans. We need football to be for everyone. We need football to be fair and we need competitions based on merit. Unless we protect these values the game we love is in danger," Beckham added.
Funnily enough, Luka Modric, Marcelo and Lucas Vazquez all liked the Instagram post. They all play for Real Madrid who are part of the Super League. It seems like not everyone at Real Madrid is on board with the idea.
