The English footballer, who started two Euro 2020 group games, slammed UK Home Secretary Priti Patel for her comments after Rashford, Sancho and Saka had been racially abused.

England international Tyrone Mings criticised Home Secretary Priti Patel after Rashford, Sancho and Saka were the victims of racist abuse after England lost the final to Italy.

Mings accused Patel of "pretending to be disgusted" by what happened and it has led to lots of debate in England. Mings also says that the Government "stoked the fire" at the start of the tournament with comments before the tournament started.

Priti Patel and the UK Government refused to condemn those who booed the England players for kneeling before the games.

"You don't get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism maessage as 'Gesture Politics' and then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we're campaigning against happens," Mings tweeted in response to Patel.

"I'm disgusted that England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse," Patel said.
