Yerry Mina scored the opening goal in Colombia's clash with Poland, heading in with half-time approaching.

Colombia took a deserved lead in the first 45, after spending long periods probing in the Polish half.

The goal finally came in the 40th minute, thanks to Yerry Mina. Colombia won a corner, and James Rodriguez took it short to Juan Fernando Quintero.

Quintero then played a reverse pass back to his teammate, and James picked out an excellent floated cross towards Mina.

The Barcelona defender is a giant, and he used his height to his advantage, rising above the defence to nod home from close range.
