Mina put Celta back in it before half-time
Benzema put Real Madrid ahead with a brace, but Santi Mina put Celta back in the contest with a header from a free-kick which went in at the far post.
Karim Benzema's sensational run of scoring goals against Celta continued and he put Real Madrid 0-2 up ater half an hour, but Madrid suffered a setback just before the break.
The team from Galicia got themselves back in the contest before the end of the first half thanks to a goal from Santi Mina. He had missed a clear opportunity at 0-2, but he did not miss this one.
Mina made amends for that error. Denis Suarez put a looping pass into the box and he headed home. He headed it into the far corner and Courtois was unable to get there.
