James Milner smashed the ball into the net to put Liverpool ahead at the Emirates.
The Englishman took aim from just inside the area, and the power of his low strike was enough to send the ball past Leno in goal.
The goal came after Liverpool had had a first-half effort incorrectly ruled out for offside.
It was the man who scored that goal, Sadio Mane, who started the move for this one.
The Senegalese player broke forward, and floated a good cross into the area, which keeper Bernd Leno could only palm away.
However, Milner was lying in wait on the edge of the box, and he made no mistake with his finish.
