Dani Ceballos is one of AC Milan's top targets this summer, with 'Il Rossoneri' hoping to secure a two-year loan deal for the Spaniard with an option to buy at the end, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.

Speculation has mounted in recent days over AC Milan's interest in Dani Ceballos. The Italian side have reportedly wanted him for some time, and his standout performances for Spain U21s at the current U21 Euros will certainly have made Milan even more keen to strike a deal for the 22 year-old.

Milan are sure that Ceballos is the man they want in their midfield, but the price of a permanent transfer could be too high with Real Madrid valuing him between 45-50 million Euros. Now, the sleeping giants of Italian football have a plan that could save them a fair amount of money.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Milan's idea is to convince Madrid to loan them the player for two years. They would pay four million Euros for this loan, and would also want an option to buy the Spaniard at the end if he does impress during his time in Italy.

Meanwhile, Ceballos seems relaxed over his future. "I have a contract at Real Madrid", he said after Spain's thumping of Poland.

At the moment, he is fully focused on captaining his Spain U21 side to a European final, with 'La Rojita' currently in the semi-finals. His future will have to wait to be resolved.
