AC Milan are reportedly closing in on a late transfer swoop for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as the Serie A window edges towards its deadline. The Italian giants are keen to strengthen their attacking options following a disappointing opening-day defeat to US Cremonese.

Vlahovic, 25, has been deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus due to disciplinary concerns and a hefty wage bill. According to reports, the forward has authorised his representatives to explore a move to San Siro, with both clubs now negotiating the financial terms.

Milan's pursuit of a high-profile attacker has also seen Christopher Nkunku linked with a potential move, but the Serbian appears to be their primary target.

The deal, however, faces challenges: the striker's reported salary of around €6 million per season plus bonuses until 2030 makes the operation costly, and the Italians are attempting to negotiate both the transfer fee and wages to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.

If the deal comes to fruition, Vlahovic would provide a timely boost to a Milan side seeking to rediscover their attacking spark. The move could also offer the Serbian forward a chance to reignite the form that once saw him shine across Europe with Fiorentina.
