Villarreal have reached an agreement with Groningen for Miguel Leal to join the Dutch side on loan. He has been presented as a new Groningen player and he will be in the same dressing room as the great Arjen Robben.
Villarreal have loaned out academy player Miguel Leal to Dutch side Groningen, Villarreal sources have reported.
Leal, a 23 year-old right back born in Villarreal, has also played as a left back and he has been training regularly with the Villarreal first team recently.
The footballer has been through all the youth team categories at the club and spent the first half of the 2018-19 season on loan at Real Murcia.
He was later included in the squad for eight first team matches, but he did not make his debut in the league. He did play in the Copa del Rey last season though.
