Pere Gratacos, former BArcelona player, has made a surprising statement about Lionel Messi's contract extension.

"Messi is one of the team's most important players but without Neymar, Iniesta and the other team-mates, he wouldn't be the same. I do not know if he should sign an extension or not. I leave this decision to the club," he explained.

Gratacos had a few more things to say and declared: "Leo is important but if a team wins it is also thanks to the team itself."

Do you agree with him?
