Sergio Ramos has only just arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, but he is already acting as if he were an ambassador for the club. He has allowed himself the pleasure of inviting Leo Messi to join the plethora of stars that make up the French club's squad.
PSG are building a fearsome team, and there are few ways to make them scarier than they already are. One is to keep Mbappé, and the other is to sign a Leo Messi who is still without a team after his Barcelona contract expired. Ramos fantasised about the second.
Interviewed by 'TNT Sports', the former Real Madrid captain showed that he has turned over a new page, and that he is now just another player at PSG. "I like to play with the best players and Messi has been one of the best in the world. I have always said that Messi will always have a place in my team," he said.
He also spoke about his relationship with another PSG star, Neymar. "Despite the fact that he was at Barca and I was at Real Madrid, I have a very good relationship with him," Ramos revealed.
"In those years of rivalry we formed a relationship and he has been sending me messages encouraging me to come here. It's always nice when the stars encourage you to come here," he added.
