Messi will turn into a businessman next summer as he plans on opening a restaurant on a symbolic street in Barcelona
The Barcelona star will open a restaurant with his brother Rodrigo and the well-known brothers Juan Carlos, Pedro and Borja Iglesias, as they already have various restaurants.
The brothers are also parterns with Ferran and Albert Adria in other establishments like Tickets, Hoja Santa, Pakta, Bodega 1900 and Niño Viejo
The restaurant will be called 'Bellavista del Jardin de Norte' and will be located on Calle Enric Granados, Number 86. It will have an area of more than 1000 square metres.
The idea is that the restaurants recreates the life of a town, as the entrance will be like a greenhouse full of vegetation and aromatic plants.
The place will have all of the elements present in a town, with a church with a bell tower, a corner store, a barbers, a bar, a news stand and a square with a fountain, somewhere special in every town.
It will also have a foosball court, a cinema, a games arcade and a replica trophy collection.
