After Deportivo clawed the score back to 2-2, Lionel Messi struck twice to win Barcelona the title and simultaneously relegate his opponents.

Although Messi's second and third aren't exactly of the same calibre as his sublime first goal against Deportivo, they proved to be all-important.

With the Argentine maestro's hat-trick, Barcelona finally got their hands on the trophy they've waited so patiently to hold.

With less than ten minutes to go, Messi came up with the goods once again for Barcelona, controlling well and finishing even better from Luis Suarez's assist.
