Messi levelled with stunner into top corner
Despite losing the first leg 1-4 and being 1-0 down in the second leg after an Mbappe goal, Barca did not give up at the Parc des Princes and hit back through a sensational strike by Lionel Messi.
After a great start by Barcelona, the Catalans fell behind after Kylian Mbappe converted a penalty which Lenglet had conceded for a foul on Icardi.
Barca were 5-1 down on aggregate, but the La Liga side did not get disheartened and they reacted immediately. Lionel Messi was the one to score.
The '10' got the ball about 30 yards out from goal and he smashed it from distance with his left foot.
The ball came off his left foot and it went into Keylor Navas' top corner. The Costa Rican was left with no chance.
Messi managed to get his fifth goal in the Champions League this season and the first which was not from the penalty spot.
