Messi back in training after ban
Paris Saint-Germain player Lionel Messi returned to training this Monday despite not receiving wages and being suspended for another week. The club is thought to have forgiven him.
Lionel Messi is back. One week after he missed Paris Saint-germain training to travel to Saudi Arabia without the club's permission, the Argentine player has returned to the pitch.
PSG had punished him by banning him for two weeks and taking his wages off of him for this time, according to media such as 'L'Equipe' and 'RMC'. Despite that, the club never made that information public.
EVerything changes after the 'Albiceleste' captain posted a video apologising for going to Saudi Arabia, arch-rivals of Qatar (who own the club), and he put himself at PSG's mercy.
"I'd like to apologise to my teammates and I'm awaiting what the club sees fit", Messi said in a video posted online.
Therefore, the forward won Paris Saint-germain's forgiveness. Not in time to play against Troyes, but he has started to train this Monday.
Messi could be available for Galtier for this weekend's game against Ajaccio, where they could consolidate their lead at the top of Ligue 1, depending on the result in the Lens result.
