Messi and Suarez, still not a part of group training
FC Barcelona returned to training on Monday. There were expectations for Leo Messi and Luis Suarez to make their return, but they are still out.
Ernesto Valverde's are becoming true as Leo Messi and Luis Suarez continue to be ruled out with injuries and physical discomfort, and the coach has had no choice but to prepare for the match against Valencia without his two big offensive references. However, it's not all bad news as there is still room for their returns.
Suarez played against Atletico Bilbao, but his injury struck before the first half of the game had even been played. Messi, for his part, has been absent since the preseason. According to reports, the two stars trained on the sidelines and did not make an appearance for Barcelona's group training this Monday.
Meanwhile, new signing Junior Firpo did make a return after having to be sidelined after the Osasuna game where he had reported some discomfort in his knee. The internationals are still out with their respective teams and will only be back right before the weekend matches.
