Napoli forward Dries Mertens doesn't stop getting suitors. The latest team interested in signing him is Monaco, who are thinking about getting the Belgian in the summer. That is according to 'Il Corriere dello Sport' on Friday.

Monaco's attacking potential does not satisfy them. The 2019-20 season still hasn't finished yet and in the Monaco offices, they are already thinking about the summer window.

And in that task, a name has appeared at the top of Robert Moreno's future signing list. It is the Belgian Dries Mertens, who, according to 'Il Corriere dello Sport', has even stopped his renewal now knowing Monaco's interest.

In fact, Mertens' contract ends in June, something that has led Monaco to try and convince the player. This season he has scored 9 goals and got 3 assists in the 1424 minutes he has played throughout 22 matches.

According to information from the aforementioned source, Mertens' wage at Monaco would be 1 million euros more than what he currently earns at Napoli.

If Napoli want to keep ahold of him they will have to buckle up. As well as Monaco, other European clubs are interested. Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, and Arsenal have, to a greater or lesser extent, expressed a desire to sign the Belgian.
