The newspaper 'Sport' is already talking about a meeting at Barcelona to close the signing of Marcos Alonso, a player who has been rumoured for months to land at the Camp Nou this summer and wear the Catalan club shirt for the 2022-23 season.
Apparently, according to the aforementioned media, Fali Ramadani, the Spanish left-back's agent, will meet again this Monday with the Catalan club to make progress on his contract and try to close a deal in principle with the Blues, with whom Marcos Alonso has a contract until mid-2023.
The player's agent will negotiate with Barça the possible contract of his player in 'Cule' territory, a contract that could be for two seasons with an option for a third, or directly for three years.
But that is not all. The Catalan giants, for their part, also want to close the final price of the operation, with the intention of not exceeding 10 million euros. According to the aforementioned source, although the 31-year-old left-back is one step away from signing for the 'Cules', nothing is yet finalised.
Just 24 hours ago, Thomas Tuchel, the London club's manager, revealed in a press conference that Marcos Alonso has asked to leave Stamford Bridge: "Marcos Alonso has asked to leave, he wants to leave and the club has accepted it".
