The Russian international kept his first clean sheet in 11 years in the Champions League after CSKA Moscow beat AEK athens 2-0 in a Champions League qualifier on July 25, 2017, with his last shut-out coming on November 1, 2006, when his side drew 0-0 with Arsenal.
Just to show how long ago that was, Thierry Henry was still in the Arsenal team.
Incredibly, the stopper's barren run lasted 43 games, during which time he conceded five goals in a game on two occasions, four goals on one occasion and three goals on no fewer than nine occasions.
