According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Real Madrid intends to get 100 million euros from the sales of James Rodríguez and Gareth Bale. In addition to freeing up space and salary mass, the club could face the arrival of new stars, such as Haaland, Pogba or Harry Kane, all linked to the club. Meanwhile, Ancelotti has reportedly taken an interest in the two rejects for Everton.

It is not easy to do the math in the current world scenario, marked by the coronavirus. However, if there is one thing that defines sports planning, it is that the machinery cannot be stopped for a moment. So is the case of Real Madrid, who, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', will try to obtain 100 million euros with the sale of James Rodríguez and Gareth Bale.

For the second consecutive summer, the entity presided by Florentino Pérez will try to get rid of the Colombian and the Welshman. They believe that their cycle has already finished and, besides, they would leave some important amounts to face the arrival of new stars. Haaland, Mbappé, Pogba, Kane, Van de Beek... just a few of the many players to have been linked with Real Madrid in the past season, but none of them would be cheap.

The two players, once highly coveted, have seen their market value drop over the last couple of years because of several factors, and their performances this year have not been convincing enough to help.

As if that weren't enough, we are venturing into a recessionary transfer market. The crisis that the pandemic will cause will mean a major deflation in operations, so the contrast will be brutal with the economic peaks that had been reached in recent months.

Both Bale and James point to the English market, where more requests for them have emerged, but it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will achieve that goal of 100 million or how much of it they will get if they manage to find new teams for them.

It seems Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with both of the players at different clubs, could be the one to provide options for the players through Everton.
