'MCN' released against Angers
Thomas Tuchel will, for the first time, count on his three impressive forwards for the match against Angers. PSG begin the game with Neymar, Mbappé and Cavani, something which has not been seen yet this season.
With all the parts available, the German coach was able to place his three top forwards in his PSG starting lineup for matchday 3 in Ligue 1.
In previous league games, Neymar had been the only one of the three to start in the season opener against Caen, while Mbappé appeared, and scored, in the second game against Guingamp. Cavani featured in neither.
Fans were also surprised by the inclusion of Areola in the starting eleven. The French international started ahead of the benched Buffon, who had been PSG's No.1 in previous games.
Tuchel will want to get his three top forwards in goalscoring form ahead of the club's Champions League campaign this year, as 'Les Parisiens' chase the trophy.
PSG, however, await UEFA's decision regarding Financial Fair Play over the transfer of Mbappé last summer. The international body will announce any possible sanctions over the next week.
