Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave an interview to 'Canal Plus' in which he didn't bite his tongue when it came to several controversial topics. The Swedish striker criticised Kylian Mbappe's renewal by PSG, also insinuating that he thought he was bigger than the club itself.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's interviews are absolutely unmissable. The Swedish striker does not hold anything back and expresses his opinions with total sincerity.

This time, his target was Mbappe in an interview for 'Canal Plus': "As a player he is fantastic. But when you lose discipline, you lose your identity. There's a reason why Zidane is Zidane. Does Mbappe want to imitate him? Let him start wanting to progress. Not to be satisfied.

And he also spoke about his renewal: "Did Mbappe make the right decision to stay in Paris? For him, no. For Paris? Yes. He made the right decision for Paris, not for himself. Mbappe put himself in a situation where he is more important than the club. And the club gave him the keys to that. But you are never bigger than a club.

"With this new generation, parents, mum and dad, whoever you want, think they have become stars. They talk in the newspapers. But who do you think you are? Shut up. It's up to your son, the player, to work and be disciplined," the striker asserted about Mbappe's parents.

Ibrahimovic spoke about Guardiola, recalling their time together at Barcelona: "Can Guardiola do better? It depends on his ego. If he allows himself to be bigger than him or not. He didn't allow me or the others to do it.

However, he also had time to praise two colleagues like Haaland and Benzema: "I like him a lot, he is a very intelligent player, he doesn't do things that are not within his capabilities. He doesn't go down to play the ball, he waits in front of goal and scores. He reminds me of players like Inzaghi, Trezeguet and Vieri. In fact, he's a new version of all three.

"Now that he is the Ballon d'Or, what do journalists say? During the World Cup in Russia I said that Benzema deserved to be in the national team, but I was attacked by French journalists. They attacked me because France had won the World Cup, now that they have won the Ballon d'Or I would like to know what they say," Ibrahimovic concluded about the Frenchman.
