RMC Sport reports that Mbappe said, during his dinner at the Elysee Palace on Tuesday night, that he has not yet signed anything with Real Madrid. It is expected that he will do so soon, as he is their main suitor and even journalists such as Fabrizio Romano warn of the good harmony between the parties.

Unofficially, Mbappe has already told PSG that he will leave the club at the end of the season. Officially, there is still no official announcement from the Parisians, at least in their formal channels. Fabrizio Romano assures that there will be when the striker reaches an agreement with his main suitors, Real Madrid.

This Tuesday night, Luis Enrique's striker attended a dinner at the Elysee Palace with Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG, and Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, emir of Qatar. During the event, according to 'RMC Sport', the player said that he has not yet closed anything with the 'merengue' club.

The broadcaster quotes people who attended the event, although this does not mean that he has backed away from his desire to wear white next season. In principle, the sticking point in the negotiations lies in his image rights, with which he wants to be very careful not to appear alongside alcoholic beverage brands or betting companies.

At one point during the ceremony, Macron was caught joking about the consequences for the country and for Ligue 1 if his move to Real Madrid becomes official. He was right: the LFP is struggling to sell its 2025-2030 broadcasts and, without PSG's 'crack' in the competition, the outlook is even more complex.
