Renowned actor Tom Holland told an amusing anecdote from the Ballon d'Or gala. During his meeting with Kylian Mbappe, he asked him to play for Tottenham, but the Frenchman laughed it off.
The Ballon d'Or gala left numerous iconic moments, apart from Leo Messi's seventh award. One of the personalities from outside the world of football who generated the most repercussion for his presence was Tom Holland, the renowned actor who plays Spiderman on the movie screens.
In a recent interview, the young actor spoke about his meeting with Kylian Mbappe: "We passed each other and I said to him: 'I'm very happy to meet you. He was very nice and I said, man, you really have to come to Tottenham".
The France international's response was unexpected as well as comical. "He started laughing and said no, there's no way I'm joining Tottenham," said Tom Holland during his chat with actress Zendaya.
This amusing anecdote made two things clear: the actor seems to be a Spurs fan and the Paris Saint-Germain player seems to have more than ruled out playing in London.
