Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev spoke to CNN about the emerging French star, who is subject of interest from Europe's top clubs.

'He will stay with us, no matter what the offer is. We know that his market value will not decrease...', the French club's directive told the mentioned source.

Kylian Mbappe has marvelled Europe with his style and talent, and last Wednesday he scored to deliver the Ligue 1 title to Monaco.

Vasilyev explained that the French champions have no intention of selling their young star, despite continued interest from Europe's elite and a reported 68 million pound offer from Liverpool.

'Our previous system involved us selling our best players to continue signing. But now we are financially stronger than two years ago, it is easier for us to hold on to our stars', he said.

He insisted on retaining Mbappe: 'Yes, he will stay. That is our priority. Kylian is very happy at Monaco and the World Cup is next year... everything points towards his continuity', he concluded.
