Mawson on Seri: 'He frightens you sometimes'
Alfie Mawson ha expressed how impressed he has been since playing along side Jean-Michael Seri at Fulham.
The midfielder shocked many by joining newly-promoted Fulham over the summer, and has shown his quality already in the Premier League by scoring an incredible goal against Burnley.
The Ivorian was linked with a move to Barcelona in prevoius transfer windows and defender Alfie Mawson, who also joined the club this summer, understands why some of the biggest clubs in the world were interested in his signature.
"'He is a great player. He frightens you sometimes. In that split second he gets you out of trouble. You hold your breath sometimes watching him, but he always gets it right." the former Swansea defender said.
"In training he is unreal - the most calm fella you will ever meet. He really brings that composure in midfield.
"He covers more ground than anyone. The quality on the ball is a different level, better than any player I have ever played with. You trust him in all sorts of areas, and he can also score goals like he did last week.
"He has a few years for people to see his best, which is just scary."
