Mathieu returned to the Camp Nou... and scored an own goal!
Jeremy Mathieu returned to face his former side at the Camp Nou with Sporting Lisbon, but he had the bad luck of scoring an own goal in the fnial stages of the game.
Barcelona were 1-0 up in the final game of Group D and they were heading to victory, but Mathieu put a rubber stamp on the victory with his own goal in stoppage time.
Messi threaded the ball through for Denis Suarez, who broke down the right hand side before crossing into the box, and Mathieu diverted the ball into his own net as he stretched to try and keep it out.
