Marseille target Crystal Palace midfielder Cabaye
Marseille are hoping to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye as American owner Frank McCourt looks to bring new faces into the club.
Marseille see the Palace midfielder as the ideal man to strengthen their midfield as they look to recruit in the current transfer window.
The Ligue 1 club were taken over by McCourt in October and were therefore unable to add to their squad immediately.
However, Marseille are in talks with West Ham over a deal to sign former playmaker Dimitri Payet and they also wish to add another French international.
Cabaye has failed to have the desired impact at Selhurst Park after joining from PSG and could soon be on his way back to France.
The former Newcastle midfielder has 48 caps for France and at 31, he would bring invaluable experience to the ranks at the Stade Velodrome.
