The Argentine coach managed one of the most successful generations of the Chilean National Team, and even today he is lover of the country. So much so that he sent a strong message of support to those who face the government in the streets these days.

"I admire what the people of Chile are doing, they take democracy differently. They are an example for the rest of the countries who are mistreated by the authorities. take democracy differently. They demand in the right democratic way," Bielsa said, questioned as Leeds coach about the events that are shaking Chile these days.

But the Argentine coach stated that this is his opinion, and it does not imply absolutely anything. "I am just a coach, I don't have the power to speak about everything. My opinion is only one more," Bielsa added.

'El Loco' insisted that the protests in Chile are fundamental for democratic health. "To have a good democracy you don't just have to vote. Everyone always describes Chileans as moderate people, but they have a conviction. They are firm people," he finished.
