Marcelo and Mendy, ready for Shakhtar
Real Madrid returned to training on Thursday to prepare for the upcoming Champions League match, with Marcelo and Mendy returning to the squad.
With the players available and those who have not travelled with their respective injuries, Carlo Ancelotti returned to work with his players on Thursday. The team is already thinking about La Liga and the match against Shakhtar.
Both Mendy and Marcelo have already joined up for the Champions League. The two full-backs completed training with the rest of their teammates again and did so at a good level, so they will be available for the Italian coach.
"The training session began with the players warming up and doing various rondos," Madrid explained. Then there was "ball circulation, pressing and possession".
Asensio trained on his own, while Carvajal, Ceballos, Isco, Bale and Mariano worked indoors.
