Valencia coach Marcelino García Toral said the fact that Liverpool came from Barcelona in the Champions League doesn't mean Valencia will do it against Arsenal, but he said "a reading" of that game is that if they're "at the top level, like Liverpool," they'll have options.

"Every game is different, we're not going to eliminate Arsenal because Liverpool has eliminated Barça. We'll do it because our players are convinced and because they can achieve the result to be in the final," he said.

Marcelino said that it will not affect them even though this weekend Valencia will face Getafe, their main rival for the fourth place in LaLiga, or ahead of the final of the Copa del Rey.

"I think it doesn't affect us at all. A club like that and footballers like that, regardless of playing a final eight days later, were going to aim for the highest level," he explained at a press conference.

But the 4-0 at Anfield confirms that "in football you can not take anything for granted and in 90 minutes can happen anything, regardless of favouritism or the previous result."
