The issue of renewals continues to fester at Real Madrid. The latest to come to the fore is Raphaël Varane. The club suspects that the Frenchman will not want to sign a new contract and, if so, will try to cash in on him in the next market.

If finally it can be confirmed that the Frenchman isn't going to renew, Los Blancos will try to sell the defender in the next summer market with the aim of cashing in and so that he doesn't go for free in just over a year.
The club's idea is to get at least 50 million euros with his sale. Varane, at 27, is one of the best defenders on his day and he isn't going to lack suitors.
In fact, according to the aforementioned media, clubs such as PSG and Manchester United are the favourites to go for the Frenchman, who would thus end a long spell of 10 seasons at Madrid.
