Mane and Coutinho see Liverpool past West Brom
Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho both scored as Liverpool beat West Brom 2-1, narrowly missing out on going top of the Premier League on goal difference.
Coutinho and Mane both combined twice to give Liverpool the three points. Jurgen Klopp's men went 1-0 up when Mane scored from Coutinho's dinked cross.
Mane then passed to Coutinho who cut inside and finished in the bottom corner to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead.
The Reds dominated the game and had 21 shots to West Brom's six. However, Gareth McAuley scored from a set piece in the 81st minute to make it a nervous finish at Anfield.
Liverpool hung on for the victory, but missed out on going top of the Premier League on goal difference because of McAuley's goal.
