Tottenham travel to Old Trafford this Saturday with both teams joint in second place with 20 points after nine games, and we take a look at a combined XI of players from both teams. Do you agree with our selection?

Jose Mourinho's side will head in to the game hoping to recover from their disappointing loss away at Huddersfield last weekend, while Tottenham will hope to carry on their good form, after they dispatched Liverpool with ease last time out.

Both sides have world-class goalkeepers in David de Gea and Hugo Lloris, but it's the Spaniard who has just edged it in this team selection.

With Tottenham's superb defensive record under Mauricio Pochettino, it's unsurprising that we've gone for an all-Spurs back-four. While Danny Rose has just returned from injury, he makes the cut ahead of United's first choice left-back Daley Blind.

The midfield is strong all-round, with Nemanja Matic holding to allow the creative talents of Dele Alli and Paul Pogba to work their magic, although Pogba won't feature on Saturday through injury.

Up top Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford are straightforward picks given their recent form for their respective sides.

The battle for the No 9 spot is certainly a difficult one, with two top-class young strikers in Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane, and although the United striker has been superb for the Red Devils since joining them in the summer, we've gone for his Spurs counterpart and the current Premier League top scorer to lead the line.

Do you agree with our selection? Let us know in the comments if you'd make any changes.
