Ashley Young continues his suspension, meaning Luke Shaw is expected to start at left-back. Michael Carrick (heart), Eric Bailly (ankle) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (knee) all remain sidelined.

Stoke: The 'Potters' are hoping to have defenders Erik Pieters (hamstring), Bruno Martins Indi (groin) and Ryan Shawcross (calf) available for the game, whilst new signing Moritz Bauer could also be involved.
