We preview and include possible line-ups for Saturday's Premier League clash between Manchester United and Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

Team News

Manchester United: Alexis Sanchez is still not fit and so will not play while Timonthy Fosu-Mensah is ruled out with a knee problem. Eric Bailly is of course out until around January. It will be a special match for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as he will face his old club for the first time since leaving them in the summer.

Crystal Palace: Palace are weak at the back as James Tomkins (groin) and James Tomkins (knee) are both unavailable. Gary Cahill could make his Palace debut or Roy Hodgson could once again go for Martin Kelly and Scott Dann in the centre of defence. Palace have yet to score so far this season.

Managers' thoughts

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backed Paul Pogba after his penalty miss at Wolves and said he would stick with his system of Pogba and Rashford sharing penalty duties. "Paul's a strong character and it (the penalty miss) makes him stronger," Solskjaer said. He also gave an update on Diogo Dalot's injury: "He'll be out for a little while, hopefully he'll be back for after the international break." He finally confirmed that they were negotiating with various clubs to sell Alexis Sanchez.

Roy Hodgson confirmed that Patrick Van Aanholt will not be punished for supposedly sending a tweet after their loss at Sheff Utd in which he said they did not put in as much effort as the home side. The Dutchman denied sending the message. Hodgson also gave his verdict on how Wan-Bissaka has settled at Man utd. "He has fitted in very well. His performance against Wolves was outstanding," he commented. He concluded admitting that it would be difficult to get a result, but that Old Trafford is a place every footballer wants to play.
