Manchester United may be prepared to spend £100 million in order to sign midfielder Paul Pogba.

The signing of Juventus and France star Paul Pogba could command a transfer fee of over £100 million, breaking the world record which currently stands at £86 million for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

The 23-year-old started his career at Old Trafford where he made seven first-team appearances for the Red Devils.

In 2012, the Frenchman joined Juventus following limited opportunites at United. It was in Turin where Pogba's career really started to progress. The midfielder has made 128 Serie A appearances, scoring 28 goals in the process.

He has won four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups and is one of Mourinho's main targets, as he aims to bring Champions League football back to Old Trafford and challenge for the Premier League title.

Is he worth £100 million?
